MEN’S RANKINGS: Road Cycling
As expected Alberto Contador remains on top of the world cycling rankings after his impressive performances this year, highlighted by his Tour de France win.
With his win in the Tour la Vuelta, Alejandro Velverde has moved up to second spot with Australian Cadel Evans close behind following his podium finish in the event.
American Lance Armstrong remains in the top 30 in 27th spot, despite his lack of cycling throughout the year.
