Pearl Izumi manufactured its Gel Vent gloves with a particular type of bike rider in mind – the one that gets serious discomfort from constant road shock.

The shock absorbing 3D gel inserts and vented palm of the Gel Vent glove make riding long distances over bumpy roads no more difficult than taking to the velodrome.

Special moisture wicking fabric across the back of the hand helps reduce the irritation of sweat, and the microfleece wiping surface attached to the thumb allows you to keep sweat out of your eyes.

Some do not like the fact that you must pull the gloves on and off, as opposed to the velcro counterparts.
