The EPS stays true to the traditions that have made Colnago the most respected bike brand in the world. The top and down tube used on the EPS frameset both have an external round shape, internally the tube are reinforced by the 3PRS system. According to probikekit.com, the proprietary Colnago 3PRS System is characterised by 3 ribs that are 10mm wide with different thickness of the ribs are tapered and positioned inside the top and down tubes to increase lateral stiffness and the handling of the frame.

Some key features include

Italian hand-built full carbon frame and fork.

The C-HS1 (Colnago Headset System) is used on the EPS; it is a tapered fork with a diameter at the base of 1″ 1/4 to 1″ 1/8.

Machined titanium BB insert.

Wishbone seat stays.

The geometry and the carbon lay-up guarantee a superior level of handling, power transfer and comfort.

Geometry: Sloping top tube.

Fork: EPS Carbon – the lightest Colnago have ever made.

Seat tube diameter: 31.6mm.

Made with the best aeronautical fibres available (T600M) for the greatest stiffness to weight ratio of any Cinelli frame yet produced.

Lateral ribs in the top and down tube give lateral stiffness to the whole structure, improving bike handling in the toughest conditions.

The oversize BB30 bottom bracket and the single plug high profile chain stays increase efficiency when pedalling and minimise lateral deformation.
