The Bell Alchera brings a new meaning to the term ‘riding on air’.

With 17 specifically designed air vents for, the 2009 model helmet ensures riders are well cooled and are able to breath, while ensuring strong and sufficient safety is on offer.

As well as a great new air vent design, the helmet offers a wide range of new features, including an adjustable GPS custom fit system and a sleek profile.

A Fusion In-Mold Microshell construction will ensure your noggin is safe from most accidents and that your head is well protected.

In terms of comfort, there a a bunch of absorbent pads to ensure you feel nothing but cushion during your ride. The cam-lock strap adjusters are easy to use and the helmet is also CPSC certified.

The helmet comes with a pretty cool design that does not stray too far away from the standard looking head protection available today.

Available in a range of colours the Bell Alchera is sure to cater for the many diverse needs of any rider.

For $50, it’s a decent deal. If you want better, you had better be prepared to spend a lot more, without sounding too negative.

The Bell Achera is what it is, a good, solid, affordable helmet which caters for the essential riding needs, and suitable for any type of cyclist.
